Ein Fan schickte mir seine Briefmarken und fragte, ob ich sie mir mal ansehen würde. Ich sagte ihm ich würde sie gerne “durchgehen”. Um sie anzusehen, “gehe” ich sie alle nacheinander durch und manchmal muss ich sie mir “mehrmals unter” die Sohl..hm.. Lupe nehmen (xD). Mit meiner “Schritt-für-Schritt-Methode” verändere ich die Anordung der Marken von links nach rechts, vor und zurück, und manchmal auch die Form, um ihr den richtigen “Twist” zu geben. Nach dem “Durchgehen” der Marken “trage” ich sie noch eine Zeit lang mit mir, bis deren Aussehen in meiner Erinnerung mit jedem Schritt verblasst…

A fan sent me his stamps and asked if I would take a look at them. I told him I would like to “go through” them. To look at them, I “go through” them all one after another and sometimes I have to take them “several times under” the Sol..hm.. magnifier (xD). Using my “step-by-step method”, I change the placement of the stamps from left to right, back and forth, and sometimes the shape to give it the right “twist”. After “going through” the stamps, I “carry” them with me for a while until their appearance fades in my memory with each step…
